Welcome to the FAQs (frequently asked questions) page of Cozilogs. Here we aim to answer some of the most asked questions we receive from customers.
Why should I buy firewood logs from CoziLogs?
CoziLogs is a UK-based online retailer of premium-grade firewood logs to customers throughout the UK, with a focus on convenience, quality, and affordability. All our firewood logs are kiln dried, and are certified ‘Ready to Burn’ by Woodsure, thanks to their low moisture content of 20% or less. Sourced from certified British woodlands, all our firewood is traceable and sustainable.
What does Ready to Burn mean?
The Ready to Burn certification mark shows that woodfuels are ready for immediate use. These logs burn more efficiently than unseasoned, green wood and reduce environmental impact.
Ready to Burn firewood has a moisture content of 20% or less; using it in place of wet wood fuel is proven to reduce the levels of emissions in the air we breathe. This is better for your appliance and chimney and reduces maintenance and fuel costs. See the Ready to Burn leaflet.

What is the best way to store my logs?
The best way to store your logs is in a dry, well-ventilated area that is protected from the elements. Make sure the logs are off the ground and spaced out so that air can move freely around them. This will help reduce moisture content and prevent rot.
